We offer a comprehensive menu of benefit choices for our employees. These are valuable plans that are more than "fringes." They're an important part of your total compensation here at HWC.

(This is only a summary of the current benefits HWC. If HWC should hire you, fuller descriptions will be made available to you.)

Health

Preferred Provider Coverage Option (PPO):
Provides comprehensive medical coverage necessary for treatment of non occupational injury and illness and certain preventative procedures. The Plan is a combination between an Indemnity Plan and a HMO. If you use "in network" providers your benefits increase, if you use "out of network" providers they decrease. Some expenses subject to annual deductible.

Dental Plan

Provides dental care benefit coverage for preventative, routine, restorative, and orthodontic services. Only that part of a charge which is reasonable is covered. Expenses subject to annual deductible and maximums.

Life Insurance Plan

BASIC LIFE and AD&D - Provides Basic Life and AD&D coverage equal to 1.5 times your annual salary, with benefits paid to your beneficiary if you die for any reason. If your death is due to a covered accident or if you suffer dismemberment such as the loss of your eyesight, an additional benefit will be paid.

SUPPLEMENTAL LIFE - Provides additional Life coverage equal to 1.5 times your annual salary, with benefits paid to your beneficiary if you die for any reason.

Disability

Short Term Disability - Provides income protection if you are unable to work due to illness or non-occupational injury. Provides two-thirds of your income after the 14 day elimination period. The maximum benefits period is 11 weeks.

Long Term Disability - Provides 2/3 pay per month for employees unable to work beyond the Short Term Disability period due to personal illness or injury. You must be disabled for at least 90 days before payments begin.

Employee Savings Plan

The 401(k) portion of this plan allows you to direct a portion of your annual compensation into a trust account. You may invest your contributions and earnings among several investment options. Loans and in-service withdrawals may be available from your account under special circumstances. All contributions and earnings are tax deferred.

Paid Time Off

Sick Time - Company provides 5 sick days per year.

Vacations - Company provides paid time off based on your length of service with the company.

Holidays - Company provides 7 paid holidays.

Optional Holidays - Company provides 1 or 2 days per year, based on length of service.

Educational Reimbursement

Company provides reimbursement for certain educational expenses if course study is directly related to employee's present job, or will enhance the employee's potential for advancement to a position with the Company Courses must be taken at an accredited college, university, vocation/technical school or in an adult education program.
