OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Northeast Corridor - North New Jersey/Lehigh Valley (PA) Region

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our outside sales team serving the North New Jersey/Lehigh Valley (PA) metro markets.
Job Functions:
- Proactively calls on electrical distributors, end users, contractors, integrators, engineering firms, and other specific target accounts. Actively seeks Houston Wire & Cable preferred specification position with all accounts.
- Actively works to obtain Houston Wire & Cable brand on specific inventory approval on bidder's list. Coordinates and communicates project activity between branch locations.
- Supports national contracts at user sites as required. This may include presentations, managing shipping issues, cable audits, etc.
- Manages the electrical distributor involvement on all end user activity by working with key individuals at major distributor locations in each market area.
Requirements:
- Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to work directly with customers.
- 2+ years of outside sales experience
- Specialty wire and cable product knowledge preferred
- College degree preferred; major in electrical engineering helpful
Salary:
- Salary plus commission
