Our Sales and Marketing Leadership Development Program helps you develop the interpersonal skills vital to building lasting relationships with customers and teaches you everything you need to know about our products and services.
All interested candidates should be self motivated, sales oriented, geographically flexible and possess an entrepreneurial spirit. Duration spent in each training function may vary at the discretion of the sales manager, based on skills, experience, capacity and progress of each individual. The Sales & Marketing Leadership Development Program is based in Houston, Texas; relocation is necessary and terms are negotiable during communications.
PHASE I: Company History & Product Knowledge (6 weeks minimum)
Candidates will learn about our company history, the HWC business model, our service philosophy, our channels of distribution, our competition, the value of HWC and in detail about our products and services.
PHASE II: Warehouse Operations (2 weeks minimum)
Candidates will receive training on receiving material, incoming inspection, order processing, UL re-spooling, and shipping.
PHASE III: Sales & Marketing Process (4 weeks minimum)
Candidates will learn about customer contacts, vendor contacts, pricing, relationship and consultive sales, overcoming objections, closing skills, and order entry.
PHASE IV: First Quarterly Sales Goal (3 months minimum)
Candidates will be assigned a quarterly sales goal and will be eligible for a bonus at the completion of the quarter. The first quarterly bonus is guaranteed to be at least $2,000.
PHASE V: Two Quarters of Sales with Mentor (6 months minimum)
Candidates will remain with a mentor for another six months and bonuses will be based sales performance. At the completion of this phase individuals will be eligible to become a mentor.
PHASE VI: Mentor (6-12 months minimum)
After completion of the first five stages candidates will become a mentor. This stage solidifies the knowledge learned over the development program. At the conclusion, individuals are eligible for promotion to branch sales, outside sales, projects department, marketing or another department.
